CAMP REGISTRATION FEES


Fees are $50 per week per student or suggested donation based on your family resources and income.

Note: Web Design + Film + Media is a 2 week camp $100 per student. However, students who would like to attend 1 week only, let us know which week before registration closes for our planning.

LIABILITY + MEDIA WAIVER

Both items must be checked off for official registration. We will email you the Liability + Media form if you are unable to download it.


You can download the Liability + Media form here from this website page (see below or sidebar) or drop in to Promise Vancouver to get a copy. We will also email you one upon confirmation of registration.

IMPORTANT All legal guardians must sign this form so that your child(ren) can participate in our camp and programs. This form is good for summer through June 2020.

Please download the “Liability and Release Form” and returned in sign before or on first day of camp.  Form must be signed to participate.

Need help a printed registration form, stop by to pick up one and our waiver form.

RESPECT

Please wear covered shoes at all times.

FRIENDSHIP

We encourage camaraderie and friendship among all participants.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

No bullying, under any circumstances. A safe, caring and orderly school is the foundation for a successful learning environment. We have a safe and protect policy for staff and youth that includes anti-bullying awareness and proactive communication with families and youth if there is an area of concern.

COMMUNICATION

Listen to the adults that are leading the programs, and listen to others when they are talking.

ETIQUETTE

Use of respectful language is encouraged and modeled by our staff and student leaders.

INDOOR BEHAVIOR

No running inside.

OWNERSHIP

Ownership over the code of conduct is used to help youth and young people grow in social responsibility.

PRIVACY + PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographing people using still or video cameras can be a privacy issue and should not be done without appropriate permission.

HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

Individuals have the right to be in a learning environment free of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, E-cigarettes and vaporizers. They have the responsibility not to be in possession of, under the influence of, or involved in providing to others: alcohol, drugs, tobacco, E-cigarettes and vaporizers at any time at Promise or during any Promise function. Smoking anything is not permitted in the building.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Students are expected to inform a staff member of incidents of bullying, harassment and intimidation as well as of any knowledge related to illegal activity. Any student who is involved in, observes, or knows about an emergency situation at Promise, or at a Promise function, should contact the nearest staff member as soon as possible to report the details of the event. In these cases, the staff will take all reasonable steps to prevent retaliation against a student who has reported a breach in the Code of Conduct.

GUEST + VISITOR POLICY

Promise staff must be aware, prior to the arrival of any visitors. In order to safeguard the children, youth, and staff, all visitors must first report to Promise staff upon arrival.

COMMUNITY RESPECT

All members of the Promise community shall not discriminate against others on the basis of race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, religion, family or marital status, physical or mental disability, age, sex or sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, or for any other reason set out in the Human Rights Code of British Columbia, nor shall anyone publish or display anything that would indicate an intention to discriminate against another, or expose them to contempt or ridicule on the basis of any such grounds. All reasonable steps will be taken to prevent retaliation against anyone who has made a complaint of a breach in the Code of Conduct.
